Hello. I will tell you about nature. I will tell about nature without people and with them.
These natural holes in the Earth form over thousands millions of years! There are lots of different types of even caves such as ice sea, limestone chalk salt and even lava caves. Different caves form in different ways. For example, limestone caves form as acidic rain dissolves rock Sea caves form ocean waves and heavy rain erode cliffs Ice caves form as es melting water runs under glaciers or through cracks in the ice.

If you want to hike through some of the most stunning scenery the Appalachian Trail is for you. It takes over five million steps to walk it and only 1 person in 4 makes it all the way. The Appalachian Trail is a footpath that runs through 14 states from Mount Katahdin. There are harmless deer, moose, and raccoons, but there are also dangerous black bears, coyotes and bobcats.
Global warming is a serious threat to wildlife. in particular, Arctic polar bears are in great danger . Many starve or drown.According to recent climate reports, melting ice from the polar ice caps and mountain glaciers could cause sea levels to rise by about 1 meter by 2100. If this happens, whole countries such as the Maldives will vanish and millions in low-lying areas like parts of Bangladesh will lose their homes.
Taiga, which means “forest” in Russian, is the largest biome. It consists of coniferous forests and covers most of North America. Taiga has a subarctic climate with large differences in temperature between seasons. The largest in Russia populations of brown bear, wolf, elk, reindeer and red fox live here. Taiga, however, is threatened by global warming and increased deforestation in recent decades. Governments are currently taking measures to protect this precious natural habitat.
There are many extreme sports in the world. Now I will tell you: about some of them: 1. Volcano Surfing. If you want to try this new craze, you'll have to travel to Nicaragua's Cerro Negro volcano. When this active volcano erupts, it throws out ash that's perfect for surfing on. 2. Wok Racing. Imagine speeding down an icy track at 60 kmph in Chinese frying pan. For protection, competitors wear a special suit and helmet and they also put ladles on their feet! 3. River Bugging. You can sit in it, but you won't get any rest in this inflatable armchair. A river bug speeds you along a river and down rapids.
On a beautiful warm day in June 2003, Blake Stanfield decided to take his father, Neil, on a trip into the Alaskan wilderness. On their first morning, they set off together down the Koyukuk River on their raft. They had only travelled a few miles down the river when, to their horror, they saw a huge wall of ice in front of them! Their raft crashed into the ice and the men fell into the freezing cold water. The next morning, Blake knew that he had to get help as they had lost all their supplies-their food, tent and clothes. He left his father and made his way towards a town 104 km away, singing loudly to scare off bears.
Hello , everyone! I'm marine biologist I came to scientific research station in Antarctica .It is summer now, so the weather today- 0. The sun never sets in the summer and it is weird. But there are seals, for example yesterday I saw humpback whale! In the winter the temperature will to -40. And the sun won't rise at all . I'll study here about marine wildfire adapts to extreme temperates and the survey of Emperor penguin. But tomorrow newcomers are going to survival course! Well, bye for now!
In Spain, there are many animal shelters that care for abandoned or forgotten pets, such as cats and dogs. But did you make the Mona Foundation in Girone, Catalonia. Since 2000, it has provided a safe home for chimpanzees who have performed in circuses or have been photographers and cinematographers. Chimps can run and climb. The center is frequented by community groups. Despite the fact that chimpanzees are encouraged to take care of themselves as much as possible, sometimes volunteers organize fun activities for them.
We live in nature and we mustn't hurt it.

Final Topic 2

Hello. Culture takes a big part of your life. And I will tell you about culture. You can teach culture in your house or outside of it.
You can teach culture inside with Google.Google was the brainchild of Larry Page. and Sergey Brin. They met in 1995 at Stanford University, USA, while they were studying Computer Science. At that time, Internet search engines were slow and complicated. So, they set about creating a search engine that could calculate how important a particular web page was. While they were developing the search engine, Larry and Sergey realised it needed a catchy name. They were inspired by a mathematical word, 'googol' which means '1 followed by a hundred zeros'. They thought it was a really good name considering the endless amount of information available on the Net, and so 'googol' became 'google'. In 1998, Larry and Sergey set up their office in a friend's garage and Google went online. Google now responds to about billion search requests per day and it's success shows no signs of fading.
Or you can teach it with music, like balalaika history, or Lady Gaga.
When you think of Russian folk music , the balalaika immediately comes to mind. This wonderful triangular shaped string instrument from the 17th century is one of Russia`s national sumbols. One 19th century musician by the name of Vasily Vasilievich Andeyev had become interested ib the balalaika as a young boy and had learnt to play it . Later ,when Andreyev was working as a musicianin the salons of Saint Petersburg he began to write music for the balalaika and perform solo concerts with the instrument . He then created an orchestra with balalaikas of different sizes . It was so succesful that the musicians performed at the World Exhibition ib Paris in 1889 .
Lady Gaga She is american singer. She was born in1986. Her real name Stephani Joanne Angelina Germanotta. She is Queen of the pop culture.
Or you can teach culture outside of your house. You can go and see haunted houses. There are lots of different extreme places in the world ,where you can hunt. One day in February 1953, a plumber, Harry Martindale, had been in the Treasurer's House since morning. He had heard lots of stories about the place being haunted. Before, he was working when he heard strange noise. He looked back and saw the helmet of Roman soldier coming through the wal! Harry couldn't believe his eyes. ! Twenty more Roman soldiers followed rching unhappily in pairs. He found later that some Roman soldiers had gone missing in York.
Or you can go on excursion in Kungur Ice caves. Kungur Ice Cave is near the town of Kungur in the Ural Mountains in Russia. It is one of the biggest and most fascinating caves in the world and is the only cave in Russia that has been adapted for tourist excursions. People say that Kungur Ice Cave is like a labyrinth inside. It consists of a network of passages and a number of grottos of various sizes. Some of these grottos are fifty to a hundred metres in diameter and up to twenty metres in height. In all, the cave contains about 60 lakes, over 20 grottos, and around 6000 10 metres of passages. Currently, tourists have access to about 1.5 km of these passages.
Or you can travel like travels John. Hi, I'm John Thompson and I was travelling around the world all last year. I was travelling in India last September. One day, I somehow caught the wrong bus while trying to get from Delhi to Agra to see the Taj Mahal! It took us four hours to reach Delhi! Despite the rain and mosquitoes, it was a lot of fun. After India I was visiting the Phi Phi Islands in Thailand. So, I was very relieved when we stopped at a place called 'Monkey Beach'. Hundreds of monkeys were running towards us as we got off the boat. Monkeys stole my backpack with a passport.
You can teach culture with Chinese opera. If you want to watch a musical composition, I recommend watching the Chinese opera. At the Chinese opera you will see how people dance and sing at the same time. The actors have very colorful costumes. Usually red, yellow and blue colors. Actors use inventory, such as a whip. This they show that they are riding a horse. Chinese train more than 7-8 years to perform on big stages. If you look at the Chinese opera, you will not regret it.
It was very interesting to know something new. And I think I will learn culture better.

Final Topic 1

Hello. I will tell you about works and hobbies.
There are dangerous jobs, like this: Ten- year-old Matt is standing on the edge of the roof. Suddenly, he hears his mother's voice. "Just jump Matt!" Matt was born into a family of stuntmen. In fact, the Epper family has been doing death-defying stunts since the 1930s. Matt is the fourth generation of Eppers who might carry on the business. Of all the crazy risk-takers in this family, there is one name that stands out as being the toughest of the bunch. Her name is Jeannie Epper who happens to be Matt's great grandmother. She has been in the business for over 60 years and is still going strong. Every day, somewhere in Hollywood there is an Epper flipping a car or setting themselves on fire.

And another dangerous job: Smokejumpers are elite firefighters who risk their lives fighting forest fires in remote areas. They bravely parachute out of aeroplanes into burning forests, where they quickly get to work putting the fire out. When they parachute into a fire zone they wear a padded jump jacket and trousers, boots, gloves, a face mask and a helmet. They also carry a backpack with some food and water, and a fire shelter.

Or the easy jobs: After school all of pupils go to university, therefore they become a students. And also is necessary to earn some money for a life. Students can be a video game testers, lifeguards, secret shoppers, dishwashers, delivery persons, gardeners, babysitters, dog walkers, waiters, cashiers, camp counsellors and others.

Or there are hobbies, like this: Lake Baikal is one of the best places for diving under the ice. In the lake there are 1085 species of plants and 1550 species of animals. Diving under ice sheets is very dangerous. So divers are preparing for immersion under ice for a very long time.

Or this: More and more young people are choosing volunteer‘s job nowadays. They help to poor families , teach children and take care of orphans. There is a wide variety of voluntary job to choose from. There are groups organise holidays through the world . You can help to animals , for example turtles . We have to say thank you to volunteers ,because they helped , are helping and will help people and animals and they’re making our world better.
All people need to work. And work or hobby takes a big part of your life.

Countrystudy

Ian Charles Jarvie (born 8 July 1937) is a philosopher trained in England, long resident in Canada. Jarvie studied at the London School of Economics under Karl Popper. He is a member of the Royal Society of Canada and managing editor of the journal Philosophy of the Social Sciences.
The philosophy of social science and the movie industry are two of his main topics of research. He is a professor at York University in Toronto.
Jarvie's philosophical temperament is influenced by his former teacher, Karl Popper. Other influences include: David Hume, Bertrand Russell, and Ernest Gellner. Further, Jarvie's philosophical method owes a debt to training in social anthropology. In this vein, he has published anthropological work on the cargo cults of the South Pacific and has contributed anthropological studies on the media. His adherence to functionalism in the study of the social differs from that of Durkheim and his followers in his holding that knowledge and ideas must be presented as causal variables. Further, Jarvie contends, it must be the case that a functionalist framework with an active role for explanatory ideas requires a conception of rationality towards ideas. Politically, Jarvie is a liberal.

Major works:

  • Towards a Sociology of the Cinema, Routledge & Kegan Paul, 1970

Festivals

Hello. My name is Kirill. How are you? I will tell you about two festivals: lemon festival and Garma festival.
First of all I will tell about lemon festival. Every February to March, the people of Menton celebrate their lemons and oranges with a three-week long lemon festival that attracts over 200,000 visitors. Artists design and create amazing huge statues for the festival using over 145 tons of lemons and oranges. The artists make everything from giant bananas to dinosaurs and some of the statues can measure more than 10 metres tall. There is a daily Citrus Exposition where people come to see the amazing creations and buy local products made from oranges and lemons. On Sundays, floats carrying the citrus statues go through the town in the Parade of Golden Fruit and on Thursdays crowds gather to watch colorful night parades with music and dancers as well as fireworks. Each year, there is a different theme and the creators let their imaginations run wild. Whether you like food and art, or simply need some vitamin C, Menton is a pretty good place to be in February and March.
Also how I said I will tell about Garma festival. The sound of the didgeridoo, the traditional musical instrument of Aboriginal Australians, announces the beginning of the Garma Festival. This annual celebration of Aboriginal culture is a call to all people to come together in unity. During the festival, visitors enjoy the traditional art, dance, music and song of the Yolngu tribe, but Garma is not just about the ways that the Yolngu did things in the past. The Garma Festival is also about their future.
I told you about very interesting festivals (I think). Thank you for your attention. Goodbye.

Winter holidays

In the beginning you need to know that we had a winter holidays and New Year.
We had a funny Holidays! We celebrated new year good: ate delicious food and didn't go to school.  Also we went to friends and grandparents. In addition we celebrated Olga Yurevna's birthday. Moreover  we walked, played snowballs, ice skated, slid fast, snowboarded outdoor to be healthy. Besides we played, slept all day to do what we like. And the best on our holidays: we gave presents, made fireworks.
As a consequence I should say that we liked this holidays.
