Death: wife died in 1971, Tolkien died on second of September 1973.

Food

  Some food are good, but  think it's bad. Here I will tell you about food like this.

  It is made of rice, chopped vegetables and spices. There is another ingredient in it, too: mealworm larvae, or baby bugs. It is a bug burger.Coop is a supermarket company in Switzerland, a country in Europe. It has started selling burgers and "meat"-balls made from bugs. This is something new in Switzerland. People in Europe do not usually eat insects. They eat steak and sausage for protein. They also eat chicken and fish.The company wants customers to try this healthy but unfamiliar food. Bugs such as mealworm larvae are high in protein. Each bug burger has about as much protein as a kid-sized hamburger.

  Naeeh Ahmed works in a supermarket in Norway, a country in Europe. It is called Best For. This supermarket is a little different than most. It only sells foods that are past their “best before” date. Before this date, the food tastes its best. Many foods are still safe to eat after that date, though. “They may not taste quite the same,” Ahmed says. But throwing them away is wasteful. At Best For, the prices are lower than usual, too. Older foods cost less. Some of the food is marked down to half price. It would be hard to find cheaper food at another market.
  Plants make their own food with help from the sun. Animals, including humans, do not. Instead, they eat food to get what their bodies need to live and grow. Humans might eat plants or other animals. Nutrition is the science of how the body uses the food we eat. Food gives the body the energy it needs. It can repair damaged cells and even help you sleep. The amount of energy a food can give you is measured in calories. These are like invisible bits of energy. When a person eats more food than the body needs, the extra calories turn into fat. When a person eats fewer calories than the body needs, the person loses weight. Every person needs a different number of calories. It depends on how much energy their bodies use. For example, an athlete probably needs more calories than a person who sits at a desk all day.

About 2 million people visit Sochi every summer for its annual film festival "Kinotavr" and it's a popular ski resort in the winter. 
  Saint Petersburg has got many things to see and do for the whole family. The city's Central Park of Leisure and Culture is a famous for its attractions and it is a great place to go to have fun. Also you can visit the Elaginoostrovsky Palace of wax figures or go exiting rides at the fun park In the summer you can hire boats and explore the park or even take a steamship ride on the river. In the winter, many people go ice-skating at the park ski-center or sleigh down a steep snowy hill for fun.

  Usually John gets up at seven o'clock, but yesterday he got up at six o'clock, because he had to do the homework.

  Always John brushes his teeth at seven fifteen o'clock, but last year he brushed his teeth at eight o'clock, because it was sunday.

  John never dresses at seven o'clock, but yesterday he dressed at seven o'clock, because it was wednesday.

  Sometimes John eats at eight o'clock, but yesterday he ate at seven thirty o'clock, because he had some homework.

  Usually John rides a bike at eight fifteen, but yesterday he ran at eight fifteen, because it was snowed.

FEARS AND EXPECTATIONS

  In my free time before the trip I thought about fears and expectations. In my mind was many fears and many expectations, because I didn't know where I will live, in what family I will live and other. I'm worried about it. And when I knew all I had just a few fears and so many expectations.

  You know I had many fears: where I will live, in what family I will live, do this family has a dog, or maybe a cat, or other pet, in what house I will live and how I will talk in English (good, or bad). Now I have one fear: not to talk in Russian out of habit.

  I had and have many expectations, I expect: it will be a good trip, I will have many friends (Russian and English), I will be better in English, than before the trip, I will see the beautiful Ireland and other like it.

   С начала года мы начинали работать с разными платформами. Мы работали на многих платформах. Я хочу рассказать своё мнение о них.

   Мы работали на платформах: classcraft, sumdog, classdojo, classroom, quizlet, duo lingo... Некоторые из них были скучные, а другие весёлые.

   Classcraft - хорошая и весёлая платформа. Она помогла делать уроки веселее. Мне она понравилась.

   Sumdog - тоже хорошая платформа. Но с ней я несильно выучил английский.

   Classdojo - платформа скучная. Мне не понравилась.

   Classroom - очень скучная. И сложная, я несильно много выучил.

   Quizlet - обычная платформа. Но я выучил много слов.

   Duo lingo - платформа которую я не знаю. Но я думаю что она хорошая.

   Я думаю что все эти платформы хоть по чуть чуть, но дали мне ум. И все они мне пригодились.

    My city, San Paulo, is the biggest and the noisiest city in Brasil. It is not very well for tourists, it is more commercial city. Also it has very much traffic and pollution. Maybe London has same. The best here in San Paulo is the entertaiment. You can find good bars and restaurants, who not close until the latest customer leave.

  "Перевёрнутый класс" - это очень необычный метод провождения уроков. Дома мы изучаем темы, а на уроке мы можем беседовать на английском языке. Я считаю что это очень хорошо помогает "спасти" урок от скуки и сделать его весёлым и необычным.
  Учиться дома очень хорошо потому - что дома ты можешь сделать себе разное расписание и постараться сделать всё очень быстро что - бы больше отдохнуть. А ещё учиться дома очень комфортно.
  Я считаю что эта четверть будет очень хорошей!

  Today I want to tell you about life of different great people in different time: Ancient Egyptians lived along the banks of the river Nile in northeast Africa. Pharaohs ruler this great and powerful empire for more than 2"500 years. The ancient Egyptians lived in houses made of mud bricks, but they also built houses and gigantic pyramids from stone. 
  Merlin is one of the most fascinating figures in British mythology. He was wizard, a poet, a teacher, and an advisor to kings. His story is full of mystery and magic. In the 6-th century the Kings of Britan were fighting great battles with foreign enemies. News of Merlin`s and magical abilities reached King Uther and he became the King`s advisor. Even today, people wonder if Merlin was more than just a character of medieval stories.       
  Cathrine the great was born in Stettin, Prussia, on 2nd may 1729. Her father was Prince Christian August of the Anhelt family. In the 18th wealthy children had their own private teachers and so Catherine received a lot of her education from her French nanny Babette. When Catherine was fifteen she went to Russia where she met and married the Grand Duke Peter in 1745. In December 1761, Peter III became Emperator of Russia and Cathrine his empress. Only a few months later, she became the sole ruler of Russia. During her reign Russia became one of the great powers of Europe. Cathrine died of a stroke on November, 1796. During her reign she made Russian a great nation. 
  Later in 1960s Music was very important to teenagers in the 1960s. They were crazy about music and they listened to their favorite rock and roll bands, like The Beatles and The Rolling Stones, on the new radio station, BBC Radio 1. Young people also enjoyed dancing in the '60s. They wore the latest fashions at the dance halls and danced all night long. 
  In our time there are many great actors, singers and other people. Maybe you will be a great person too.
